Frame by frame playback/rewind/forward still has problems
SMB/CIFS support (SAMBA) has some minor issues
No clean up if LAN is disconnected before the share is “ejected”
System will crash if the LAN is disconnected while a share is being accessed
IRRTC split not completed
Manufacture side porting incomplete
The input system brought in significantly degrades GUI response (pending investigation
Needs access to IRRTC to work, porting pending
Discussion
GUI considerations
Low level “screens” handle to many keys/events on their own
Create a more central place to handle global keys/events (e.g. “Home”)
Create parameters to allow change of GUI size
“ that is actually we have the _X and _Y macro there to calculate the GUI size off the frame buffer size”
GTK style widget packing to permit scalability while maintaining look and feel
Scratchbox considerations
Not everyone is happy with it
Kernel builds, etc agreed to stay the way they are
Build-helper helps with Neuros applications and BSP
3rd party applications using GNU autotools are a mess to cross compile
Scratchbox may be better for building 3rd party applications
Possibility of creating a new API for providing access to FB driver parameters
May provide for over/under scan problem
