[02:43] * John_Cheese  is away!
[03:32] <carbon_unit> Hi All.
[03:34] <carbon_unit> Hi Yono
[03:34] <Yono> hi carbon
[03:34] <carbon_unit> I'm back with more questions
[03:35] <carbon_unit> what is a good program to organize my MP3's, normalize levels and correct ID3 tags?
[03:35] <carbon_unit> My stuff is a mess
[03:36] <Yono> haha, mine is too, I'm not the best person to ask
[03:36] <carbon_unit> any idea where to look for answers?
[03:38] <Yono> not really
[03:39] <carbon_unit> OK.
[03:39] <Yono> you could try tag&rename
[03:39] <noiz> carbon: you use linux, right?
[03:39] <carbon_unit> ya'
[03:39] <carbon_unit> but I could fire up some windows if needed.
[03:40] <carbon_unit> got any ideas noiz?
[03:41] <noiz> i thought i knew of one program for linux, but let me look for it really quick
[03:43] * mbishop  pokes iswm
[03:43] <noiz> this is what i was looking for - easytag.sourceforge.net - althought you might already know about that tag editor
[03:44] * iswm  murders mbishop
[03:47] <mbishop> can't wait to get my neuros :\
[03:48] <noiz> yeah, i cant wait to get my neuros back from repairs...
[03:49] <mbishop> heh
[03:55] <iswm> What happened with it, noiz?
[03:55] <NC-17> i cant wait for my new one to come =\
[03:56] <noiz> it failed to read the boot sector on my two hard drive backpacks :-(
[03:56] <NC-17> sounds kinda like mine
[04:01] <mbishop> ben tried to convience me to get a neuros a while ago, then today I was cutting the grass and noticed I really need an mp3 player
[04:11] <carbon_unit> Laterz
[09:15] <inkedmn> is it possible for me to view the top 10 (or whatever) played tracks on my neuros?
[09:15] <inkedmn> or in nsm
[14:57] <noiz> inkedmn: i guess with the new firmware that supports AudioScrobbler you would be able to view the top then played tracks, but nsm and the official firmware dont support anything like that right now
[20:26] <inkedmn> noiz: well, i'm using the beta firmware (2.28) currently.
[20:26] <noiz> inkedmn: well, i think using the AS firmware is the only possible way to do it right now
[20:37] <inkedmn> AS?
[20:42] <kronin> AudioScrobbler
[20:49] <inkedmn> ah
[20:49] <kronin> you can get the patch, or compiled firmware, from here: www.krose.org
[20:49] <kronin> that has AS support built in so it tracks all the songs you play.
[20:50] <kronin> but you'll need to use a sync manager that knows how to read the file it generates, and update the AudioScrobbler database. I know Sorune is working on it (not sure of status).
[20:57] <noiz> kronin: its in gamma, i have a version, but there should be a beta version for public use in a bit
[21:15] <Neuros42> testing
[22:21] <nerochiaro> hi people. any news ?
[22:21] <Yono> not that I know of
[23:05] <Yonoslayer> I'm here to kill Yono
[23:06] <Yonoslayer> I hope no one minds
[23:10] <kronin> now that wasn't very sportsmanlike
[23:16] <AmericanTechpush> What kind of news you looking for?
[23:17] <Yono> hi Keith
[23:17] <Yono> I dunno, mostly everything is on OdNA, except the forum stuff of course
