[00:46] <JoeBorn> please, for the love of pete (and pete's family) please digg us digg.com
[00:46] <JoeBorn> ask not what neuros can do for you, ask what you can do for neuros.
[00:46] <JoeBorn> sorry nerochiaro
[01:01] <JoeBorn> I did, but obviously you didn't get mine :)
[01:35] <diafic> wait. What? The OSD's OS can run in vmware?
[01:35] <diafic> How is that possible? The OSD is ARM9 isn't it?
[01:36] <diafic> Oh I see. NVM.
[12:23] <orospakr> Hey, I have a silly question: some anime fansubs out there are encoded with HD resolution. Can the Neuros handle playing those (of course, the display device would just be an SD television)?
[12:47] <JoeBorn> orospakr: generally, the OSD can't decode high def content at all.
[13:26] <JoeBorn> hi all
[13:27] <orospakr> JoeBorn, ah, well. I thought so.
[13:27] <orospakr> thanks. :)
[13:32] <nerochiaro> JoeBorn: hi there, were you looking for me the other day ?
[13:33] <JoeBorn> did you hear the pager? or have you piled yet another layer or rocks on it?
[13:33] <JoeBorn> are you back on duty?
[13:34] <JoeBorn> hey slashdot all:
[13:34] <JoeBorn> hardware.slashdot.org
[13:34] <nerochiaro> JoeBorn: yep, vacation's over (well, aside of Sundays like today ;))
[13:35] <nerochiaro> the pager rests firmly under a thick layer of cement, btw
[13:36] <JoeBorn> Sundays! Schmundays!
[13:36] <nerochiaro> you know, it's one of these whippersnappers' things
[13:47] <nerochiaro> JoeBorn: still there ?
[13:52] <JoeBorn> barely
[14:32] <vmarks> hi
[20:39] <vivabenfica> hi
[20:41] <vivabenfica> i have a gmg tvisto ( see www.galaxymetalgear.com ) and it does most of what i want a media device to do. the neuros osd is interesting, but i wonder if it overcomes what is a defect of the tvisto - noise in video playback, poor audio playback, and terrible image playback
[20:41] <vivabenfica> that is, is the DAC good, say comparable to a decent dvd player?
[23:02] * Mike_L  looks around
[23:03] <Mike_L> anybody know where I can find out how much RAM is in the Neuros OSD?
[23:04] <Mike_L> I searched through the neurostechnology.com website and wiki, but the information isn't there
[23:04] <Mike_L> it would also be great to know its power requirements
