If you've ever wished the remote control of the OSD had a longer range, how does 4000 miles sound? That's right, UK hacker MattJ has a clever hack that will allow us to control his TV channel using the OSD from any pc. Now having an anonymous stranger monkeying around with your TV set might not seem like such a useful "feature" until you realize that in this new Web 2.0 world we live in, malice and hatred has all but vanished from the planet. In their place, a benevolent and kindly spirit has arrived that motivates complete strangers to choose programing that will provide us with endless joy and enlightenment, joy and pleasure that we could not achieve with channel selection of our own, blinded by own short sighted self-interest.

Ok, fine even if you cynically consider that an incredible pile or horse manure I'm sure you can see this hack has potential. This is an important step in remote programming of the OSD for things like PC side EPG, etc and builds on the work of other Neuros remote control giants like Bagster. Thanks MattJ
