For those that weren't able to attend, we had a very productive meeting with Rockbox, you can see the logs at http://www.rockbox.org/Neuros-chat-20050920.txt I'm personally very excited about the possibility of using the Rockbox firmware on the N3 and it sounds like there may be interest among the Rockbox folks as well. Tons of details to be flushed out, but it's a great start.

As you'll see from the logs, there are tons of interesting issues that arise that make any kind of "deal" between Rockbox and Neuros fairly groundbreaking. Rockbox has no formal organization so any agreement would consist solely of the GPL and a significant set of unwritten hacker customs and rules. It's breaking a lot of new corporate business development rules, Eric Raymond should be watching.
