yeah, the open source firmware has had a pretty good amount of work done on it (although mainly by GarBage...) GarBage has been able to add great features like timed recording, and is even working on having the XI menu avaliable anywhere by holding the joystick to the right (bug #199). more people have started joining in and helping GarBarge, and this will also speed up the process in which new features are implemented. im also glad to see that OdNA is being updated fairly regularly now (at least for the last 2 days) and hope that more people than me will post commments...

Its nice to see more activity on this front. I have to say that the openness of the neuros platform is what has put the neuros at the top of my list. Although I doubt Ill contribute much to development (maybe java manager...) I feel very positive about spending $ on a company going through this much effort to cultivate openness. Expect another purchase soon...
