This is really an interesting development to me. This is a homemade video of a this guy whos a champ at playing quarters, but it's received enough attention to have a corporate sponsor!

I'm convinced that making the OSD capable of browsing and playing this kind of content will be a really important application for the device. There's been a lot of talk of "IPTV" but normally in the context of the usual horse-poop cable controlled content, not peer developed stuff. I think this is going to be a very interesting area of application for the O.S.D. While it's true that the bulk of this content is garbage, if corporate advertisers start pumping some money into these spots, I think you'll find a lot more folks willing to put some effort into these shorts.

yea, that's a cool link
I'm not enthused about having to sit down at my PC to do this, I think it should be possible without touching the PC. Man I really have to get XBMC going on my XBox, it's already modded, I just haven't had the time to get XBMC going on it.
I agree that it would be kewl
I thought of this when I read what you were hoping to do:

I don't know if there is a "standard" for accepting urls to play, but it would be kewl to be able to have a "send to Neuros OSD" type thing in firefox.
Most of the content on google video and youtube is wrapped in a flash player tho, so that may cause some trouble.
