I've been extremely remiss in my updates on the 442v2 and I appoligize for that. I've attached an email with the most recent schedule (from the factory). Given the available resources, this got pushed back a month, meaning developer samples will be in August and Gamma will be in October (assuming two boards spins are required, which was not the case with the OSD, FWIW). I appoligize to all, particuliarly the Gamma 442 purchasors for this delay.

I noticed a couple other people asking about the new 442 over on the Google group. Anyone know the status of the new 442 and whether or not Neuros is still on target with Joe's posted schedule? When will we be able to upgrade our Woot launch 442's?
nav hardware on 442v2
It's my understanding that the 442v2 will use the same housing/casing as the existing 442. Does this mean that the new version will use the same clumsy, un-ergonomic rocker pad that is on the current 442? If not what are the plans for the navigation hardware?

What are the EE, ME and SW? And, what are DVR0 (include EMI Pretest), DVR1, PR and MP? I am sure they make sense once you know, but I haven't drunk enough ovaltine to get my decoder ring yet.

I'm guessing that MP = Mass Production
EE = electrical
EE = electrical engineering
ME = mechanical engineering
SW = software
DVR0,1 = developer release (probably)
PR = production run
MP = majorly pissed (at the delay) (obviously I don't know this one)
