My Idea for the "Day Against DRM" activity

http://defectivebydesign.org/en/idea/sidewalk_demonstration_of_drms_impact_on_products

I'm thinking of a table with 3 or 4 sets of pictures, or maybe actual products:

#1 products invented as the result of copying being legal:
tape recorder, VCR, TiVo, mp3 players -"ok, they all allowed copying, that's easy to understand, so what?"

#2 products that are already extinct because of DRM/DMCA
DVD ripping software, audio stream ripping software, etc "-I can rip CDs to my iPod, you mean I can't do that with DVDs and my new video iPod?"

#3 products on the threatened species list because of new DRM and DRM legislation (including analog hole)
digital video recorders, XM recording radios, CD ripping programs FM Radio recording to MP3 "I heard something about that Sony rootkit thing, there are other CDs I can't rip? There's legislation/lawsuits to eliminate video recorders?"

#4 products that will probably never make it to market because of DRM
HD FM recorders, 3rd party satellite receiver boxes, free and open wifi mp3 players, DVD archivers, etc

This is where you hit them over the head, I have an Industrial designer that could sketch up these as ghosts or something and you could walk a reporter through the "new product" showcase. Imagine it like this:
"here's a third party satellite receiver box, now not only does this allow you to view your satellite content, but it also allows you to share home video directly over the network with your friends and family as well as watch youtube, and get content from all kinds of sources outside of the satellite company. It's great because it's supplied by a content agnostic 3rd party manufacturer so it collects content from a great variety of sources. Sounds great? Well, it'll never make it to market because DRM allows the satellite companies to control exactly who makes their set-top boxes and what they have access and like any company they're not eager for competition, so it'll never happen"
