A Very Special Breakfast with the Chairman

Every Thursday Night (US Time) We have  our "Breakfast with Chairman Gao" IRC meeting. It's breakfast because it's Friday morning in Xiamen China where Gao is.

It's every Friday, UTC 02:00 Click Here to find your local time.

During this weekly meeting, the Chairman will patiently answer your questions about hacking the Neuros, no matter how stupid, ignorant or inane they may be.  But this breakfast will be special because we'll get to welcome our new ThinkGeek OSD Beta friends. It's also special because I've invited some folks from the *gasp* outside world to find out about the OSD.  Now these folks may not know the Kernel of Linux from the Colonel Sanders, but they have cold hard cash we're trying to pry out of their fingers to buy the OSD.

#neuros regulars: This money mentioned above will allow us to finance the "bounties" for these ingenious "hacks" I've been hearing so much about.  I will try to portray you as these brilliant, skilled hackers, please don't blow it and look like  psychopathic  nincompoops (at least until we get their money)

Note #1: In the category of confusing-but-we-do-it-anyway-because-we-have-a-weird-sense-of-humor, Chairman Gao is just a nickname and he's actually the head of our firmware division, so this meeting is about technical stuff like hacking the OSD.

Note #2: Not that it has a darn thing to do with anything, but the picture above is not only a dish that's eaten in China but it's actually breakfast, fancy breakfast! Maybe some of our Chinese readers can shed some light on why you'd want to try to wrestle some scraps of meat of a hapless Chicken's foot when the rest of the bird is available.  Anyway, to see what breakfast actually looks like at our Xiamen division, look  Here and Here.  The picture above has a link to a pretty interesting blog on a westerner's experience in China.
