EFF has a good article on the demise of TiVo2Go.  Hint:   It's the result of legislative victories of big media particuliarly on the Cablecard standard.  Big media essentially forced TiVo to choose between a number of their existing features and getting access to the cable content.  Obviously, given the choice, Neuros chose the other alternative with the OSD, but you already knew that.  Either way, it's sad news for innovation, and sad news for consumers no matter which product you choose.
