My unit won't get the image from Neuros even though the network is set up correctly (i.e. can ping open.neurostechnology.com).
My unit won't automount a CF card. I have to go to Telnet, mount the CF card manually, then issue the update. (This particular CF works on Windows, Linux and a Microtek SBC running Linux -- so its not the chip.....)
(It would be helpful if we could boot a filesystem from removable media like a CF card, leaving the internal storage for polished releases. It would greatly speed recovery from accidents and it would allow us to load the software up with stuff useful for debugging.)
I'm stuck in reboot hell at the moment and cannot use the emergency upgrade since I cannot us "/" in the file name of the .upk file. Any other thoughts?

make a directory
/newpackage/r3.upk does not mean a filename with a /, but a directory called "newpackage" and a file called r3.upk
